The VRBO House Trading Experience

My wife and I recently visited Napa and stayed at the charming vacation rental, Casa Alta.

We begin each day with a cup of lovely Mexican blend coffee from Whole Foods, which I must say is one of the nicer laid out stores in their chain. Sitting in the backyard in the sun of Casa Alta is a wonderful experience. Miles, our pet Corgi, is happy here at my feet as I write this in the cool summer morning breeze under the veranda. The weather is fantastic this time of year in Napa and we are enjoying the brief cool front that has rolled in this week.

The house is warm and friendly and the spacious kitchen and back deck are great for cooking, relaxing, playing guitar and talking with friends over a bottle of wine. The quiet street is a nice contrast to our apartment in San Francisco and the people are very friendly, waving as we walk Miles in the morning.

We enjoyed visiting and getting to know Napa and the wonderful attractions here. The lovely décor and peaceful nature of Casa Alta and it’s proximity to downtown made for a pleasant stay. We look forward to a return visit.

Sharing a passion for fine food, a broad knowledge of international cuisine and a wealth of management experience, Dennis Clews and Pierre Smets of Concepts Culinaire have partnered with Richard Murphy in re-launching the Jenner Inn Restaurant. This dynamic duo of chefs, Australian and French, will open for dinner Thursday through Sunday 5:30pm to 10:00pm and lunch Friday through Sunday 11:30am to 3:30pm.

We are excited to hear about the opening of the new Jenner Inn Restaurant and wine bar. The coast is entering it's finest season, where the fog has lifted, the days are warm and pleasant and the evenings brisk and cool. The perfect time to visit and curl up by the fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine.

Fall is a time for creativity, the shorter days bring us to the indoors where we can concentrate on the artistic elements of our lives. Artist's View has always been a center for creativity, the garden is in full bloom, the light is perfect for the painter's brush and the valley views orchestrated by the hawks wings in flight.

Jenner is a very special place, a place of enigmatic energy that lends itself to rejuvination and creative inspiration. If you ever dreamed of writing the great American novel, symphony, poetry, and or painting that brings meaning to our lives, fall is the time to express yourself.
